This is a personal website. It is designed to collect as little information as possible.
What I collect
- No analytics, no cookies, no tracking, no advertising. I do not run any analytics service on this site.
- No third-party resources. Fonts, scripts and images are all served from this site, so your browser does not contact other companies when you read it.
- Theme preference. If you press the light/dark toggle, your choice is stored in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device and can be cleared in your browser settings.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc. As with any web host, GitHub may process technical data such as your IP address when you visit. See GitHub's privacy statement. I do not receive this data.
Links to other sites
Links to external sites (LinkedIn, GitHub, X, the BBC, publishers and so on) are governed by those sites' own policies once you click them.
If you email me, I will use your address and message only to reply, and will not share them.
Your rights
Under UK/EU data protection law you may ask what personal data I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it. Email me using the address on the home page.
